My previous work, my studies, and my personal interests have been a great jumping off point for design. Especially my work history in graphic design and art direction as well as my undergraduate degrees in photojournalism and anthropology.

This portrait series was an exploration into observing people that you pass by  everyday in a new light. All of the subjects were Syracuse citizens waiting for a bus downtown. Each person had a unique story: One was going to work, another was just making his way home from a rehabilitation facility, another was just passing the time. When frozen in time each persons individuality stands out so vividly compared to when we move about in out daily lives.
